Tiffany Hester

 

Tiffany Hester serves as a Senior Consultant for The Kaleidoscope Group, L.L.C. She functions as a Client Leader managing engagements and leading clients through the Diversity & Inclusion Journey. She also is an Instructional Designer and Workshop Facilitator. Tiffany has 20 years of experience in instructional design, training and facilitating, and diversity consulting. Some of the clients she has worked with at Kaleidoscope includes: Nationwide Insurance, Sara Lee Corporation, Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI), Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and Atlanta, Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems, ERIE Insurance, United Services Automobile Association, and Farmers Insurance.

Her instructional design experience began at Gap, Inc., and then Pacific Gas & Electric where she developed management, sales, and product knowledge training programs and job aids. Tiffany then wanted to expand her instructional design skills to include training delivery and facilitation so she accepted a role with Decker Communications, Inc., a San Francisco based consulting firm, as a Trainer. To continue to expand her skills, Tiffany accepted a role as Curriculum Designer/Training Consultant with J. Howard & Associates, a diversity-consulting firm based in Boston, MA. With Tiffany’s unique combination of design and training capability, she was able to develop and deliver facilitator-led and computer-based learning programs for several Fortune 1000 companies including Home Depot, Bell South, Gillette Corporation, and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., in the areas of diversity and management development. Tiffany was then recruited by CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc., a used car retailer based in Richmond, VA, to serve as the Manager of Diversity Programs. In that role Tiffany was responsible for developing the organization’s diversity strategic plan and creating and implementing programs to support CarMax’s diversity goals around diversity education, recruitment, marketing, public relations, associate development, and supplier diversity.

Tiffany received her B.S. in Dance Management, a Performing Arts Management program from Oklahoma City University. She is originally from New Iberia, Louisiana and currently resides in the San Francisco/Bay Area with her husband and three daughters.
