Bennett B. Williams

Bennett B. Williams is the Midwest Region Vice President for The Kaleidoscope Group.  He has over 15 years of business development experience.  Ten of those years have been spent in recruitment marketing where Williams worked with organizations to develop recruitment marketing plans, employer branding strategies, talent acquisition technologies, and diversity recruitment and retention strategies.  Prior to joining The Kaleidoscope Group Williams held positions as Vice President of Business Development at Peoplefilter Technology, Director of Client Services at Shaker Recruitment Advertising and Communications, and Manager of Recruitment Advertising for the Chicago Tribune and Tribune Company.

Throughout his career, Williams has established client relationships with the University of Illinois, UIC, University of Chicago, Moraine Valley, Elgin Community College, National Louis University, Columbia College Chicago, Chicago City Colleges, Career Education Corporation, HSBC, U.S. Cellular, T-Mobile, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Walgreen’s, Boise Cascade, Wachovia, Follett Corporation, Gulfstream, Sanofi Aventis, TMP, Monster, CareerBuilder, JWT, Bernard Hodes and others.

Williams’ foundation in diversity was established at the Tribune Company as he served on three diversity councils and was mentored by the Director of Diversity.  In addition, Bennett served as the Tribune’s liaison for recruiting and providing scholarships for students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  He continued developing this foundation by helping organizations make the distinction between building a diverse brand through recruitment advertising, as opposed to building it through engagement.  These skills continue to be sharpened as the diversity industry becomes more sophisticated at integrating branding, technology, and optimizing recruitment through retention.

Williams has always been committed to developing youth both socially and academically through mentoring Junior High and High School students, and coaching peewee football and basketball.  He holds an MBA from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
